Bought a violin today, a Suzuki that came with everything. I like the case, I think that's where I'll put all my anime patches.

I want to get an Ouran crest for it, even though the stitching in the center reminds me of Ouran anyway. I can't even read music but I've been wanting to learn how to play the violin for a while so we went out today and I finally bought one. Hopefully I'll be taking lessons in college, even though there's an additional course fee of $200, which is ridiculous. What's also ridiculous is that I paid $261 for mine and my step dad was going to bring a catalog home with him today where there was a violin (also with everything) for only $79. *Sigh* Oh well. I already bought it, and I like it anyway. It's just too bad, because I could have gotten a better deal!! Haha. (If I had waited, I'd definitely have enough cash for the lessons; now I'm not so sure. Such is life.)
On the writing front, though I'm still totally blocked on any serious stories, I've started a story just for fun with characters based on my friends. I play HvZ, and I'm writing a zombie apocalypse story with my friends/team/enemies from HvZ. Just a bit of fun so I'll be able to write SOMETHING when I can't figure out anything for any serious stories. So far I'm not having such a hard time keeping my friends' characters in character (XP), but I can foresee some trouble when I delve deeper and focus more on each character later on. But I'll be back in college soon anyway and able to observe them all once more, and we'll be playing HvZ again so that'll be perfect.

As for more artsy stuff, I may start drawing more and sketching and stuff like that. I found some tutorials on here, and Tex (dimestorepunks) is telling me to keep practicing. We'll see.

I would like to be able to draw my own characters. Speaking of Tex and drawing...I'm going to ask her to draw a cartoon on my violin case.

I believe in everything until it's disproved. So I believe in fairies, the myths, dragons. It all exists, even if it's in your mind. Who's to say that dreams and nightmares aren't as real as the here and now?
